Tagging people in my memories is not working
today (Aug 18, 2024) I have tagged four people, repeatedly, "saved" the page and go back to look and the tags are NOT there. I am not a newbee, and I have tagged thousands of photo/documents. Never had this problem before. Is there a website glitch going on??

I have had issues with tagging over the weekend as well. I will place a tag and I cannot adjust its borders or its placement. I have cleared my cache and the issue remains. Experiencing the same issues using both Chrome and FireFox browsers

Hmm. I have no difficulty tagging today. I have been doing photos. I click the TAG PEOPLE button, select the region, select the person, click TAG SELECTED, then DONE TAGGING. The tag appears as it should. I can leave the photo and come back and it's still there. I can go to the newly tagged person's Memories tab, and I now see that photo. I'm using Chrome.

I am having the same problem since late last night (August 17). I click TAG PEOPLE, choose the place on the picture, type the name of the person, click the box, and the dialog box closes, rather than letting me Tag Selected.

There have been a number of issues with tagging in memories, most notably being able to adjust the tag box around what you want to zone in on. I made a phone call and a rep was on their side and they saw the same thing. Hopefully it gets fixed. I hate to sound negative, but lately it seems like there's always something going wrong on here.

Tonight I can't tag any document that are in jpg format. As soon as I move to a specific name, the tagging disappeared before I could even enter the name. Very infuriating that I can't link the document (photos, too) to any individual.

today, August 19, 2024, same issue, same problem. Tagging is not working. Click on a person's face, type in a name, put checkmark in box by their name, click save.
Window closes… but it is all gone. Not one person has been tagged.0 -
As of Aug 19, evening time, the tagging function seems to be working again.
But please let us know if you are still experiencing any further challenges with tagging.
