Adding a comment to a Memories Item - and notifying the submitter.
Adding a comment to a memories item - is not so much obvious as it used to be.
You can still do it - by clicking on the "I' (information) icon and then clickingon the 3rd of three icons that show up on the top of the message bar.
HOWEVER - contrary to what many people think - adding a comment does NOT send a message notification to the submitter (like it did various years back)
It appears this may actually be intentional and not just a bug.
Whenever you have a message about an item that you want the submitter to read - you should direct message the submitter - (clicking their user id and then clicking chat)
Also dont just assume that the message will include the link to the item in question. Some times it does - sometimes it doesnt - so always include that in your chat message.
Also some people have their email marked as public - and you will see their email address. This is another way to try and contact the submitter.
Conversely - To note that an item YOU have submitted has a comment from a user - you will notice a number count next to the comment icon. (very small and not eye catching and not even obvious/intuitive as to what it means — but its there)
