Are there any tools like snip-it or word processing or spreadsheets available with the new Chrome OS
I have installed the new Chrome operating system on two of my four desktops at my FamilySearch center, and a patron wanted to snag a record off the screen but could not figure out how to do it. Can you help me help her?

In the upper right is the extensions for Chrome OS. There are limited office tools available there, Sheets, Word, PowerPoint.

Thanks for the quick response. I am working at the center tomorrow, so I will try it out.

The snip tool on Chrome OS is easy to use but hard to find once it's snipped and tricky to save to a USB. It's one of the drawbacks to using Chrome OS. The "t" icon at the bottom of the screen gives you a very limited Wordpad and no option to print, that I could find; it's nothing like a Libre doc or Word doc. We used to copy the snip-it image onto a Libre doc to enlarge it. Can't do that on Chrome. If anyone knows how, I'd love to hear.

I've been looking for more support for this new platform, too, James. FamilySearch emailed these four documents, today. Each was helpful.
