I found this in the Resolved list but it is not.

When opening a Story, the attached photo is not displaying fully.	7-May-24

Here's what's happening with these images. When you open a Story that has an image/Memory attached to it, the image is enlarged to fit the full space above the Story. The image is oriented to focus on the CENTER of the image, which is why the top half appears can appear to be cut off. (I know, this can be annoying for me as well!)

All I can really offer for an answer is. . . This is working as designed. Engineers are aware. There might be a change coming, but no promises.
