How can I map the travels of my ancestors?
I have been looking at the "Where Am I From?" Activity, and find it really interesting, but it is apparently only based on birthplace data. What I would like to do is use census and land records to show where my ancestors lived through time. Is there a genealogy app or anything that I can use for this? I think I can do similar with Google Maps, but I want to outline plots or at least areas, and not use a specific "address" or pin.
Any suggestions?

Actually, my friend and I have been working on a map in Google maps for over 10 years. If you save a map, you can add shapes (land boundaries) and such to it as well as the pins. There are tons of different icons that you can add to the pins and lots of different colors. You can even make different sections or layers for different types of information. See Julie's Mecklenburg Genealogy Map.

Holy Smokes! This is exactly what I need! Funny thing is, I use saved maps frequently to plan trips. I just didn't know that you could draw shapes! Now that you told me, I found it right away. 🤦♀️ Thank you!!!
