I believe we still need clarification on included records in this project; closed threads do not help.

The categories mentioned as part of the Full Text Search project are general categories. When we ask about missing record sets, we are told those are not included. BUT, we have no way of knowing that from the descriptions.

How are we supposed to divine what is included and what is not included?

Thank you.

    I have reopened this discussion.

On November 10, a new feature was added to the Landing Page of Full Text Search. You can now get a list of all collections that have added to Full Text Search.

    placeholder image

For example, as of 14 Nov 2024, there are 17 collections for Pennsylvania containing more than 13 million records that are available in Full Text Search.

Many records in FamilySearch have not been processed in Full text Search. These are available by looking in Explore Images. I looked in Pennsylvania and found 65 collections containing 65.7 million records.

And finally, there are 402 million records from Pennsylvania that have been indexed and can be searched.

Please use BROWSE ALL COLLECTIONS in Full Text Search.
