The deed records for Chambers Co., Alabama are available only on microfilm at the Salt Lake FamilySearch center and the courthouse in Lafayette, Alabama. They have not been digitized. Is there a place that I can ask someone to look up two specific deeds and make copies? The index is available on Ancestry, so I am able to see the volume and page numbers needed.

All microfilms held by FamilySearch have been digitized. They're just not all available online.

I think Cindi's List is probably your best bet for finding someone who can do the lookup for you in Salt Lake City, although you could first try posting the specifics here. (I don't know if there are any SLC locals frequenting this Community, but I also don't keep up with all of the categories/groups.)

If you post in the Southern States group, you may have a better chance of finding someone who researches Alabama and either has access to the records there or goes to SLC to research at the main FHL.
