How can someone create a FamilySearch Community Group for the Middle East.

    I believe the short answer is that we can't. Only FS staff can create groups.

    The Middle East is included in the existing groups for Asia Research (https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/10-asia-research) and Africa Research (https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/3-africa-research), but I agree that needing to choose a continent is not necessarily ideal for discussions covering the entire region. However, genealogy generally comes down to specifics, so such discussions are likely to be rare.
