Hi! The following link leads to an indexed record. The spelling on the family is Tripp (Tripe on this record!) but the record was indexed as Brisse. I've tried to edit it and get everything filled in, but then cannot save.

I have cleared cookies and tried 3 different browsers. None of this worked.

Would appreciate any help.

Carol

p.s. The feedback button has an error and sent me here to community.

There have been various reports of the Save button being grayed out when trying to edit an index. Several existing threads, and I've personnally experienced it.

The index editor appears to be currently nonfunctional on the 1870 U.S. Census.

Like many others, I have been avoiding index editing for about the past year, because of the the serious problems it has been causing with access or visibility, so I don't know when the current behavior first showed up, nor how widespread it is. I do know that it is not universal: I was able to correct names just now in both the "Hungary, Church Books" and the "Hungary, Catholic Church Records" collections.

I was successfully able to submit feedback using the Feedback tab on the viewer-and-editor page (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-68KS-****?view=index&personArk=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AMFFW-YFJ&action=view).

I had the same issue earlier, in the 1910 US census.

Thanks all. I've learned that they have enough reports so they can do a thorough review. I'm just grateful it's getting there as I've noticed that more and more are accessible. I will just note this PID and carry on!!! Such quick responses!!!
