Is there a setting that prevents the gray image reference bar at the bottom from showing?

It is impeding my view of the documents and I'm tired of clicking to minimize it and then clicking back into whichever field I was working. It would be nice if we could just deactivate it until needed.

The only setting is Ctrl + G, which only minimizes the image gallery.

There is also an option to close that bar by clicking on the small white down arrow to the left of "Next images."

    One click.
