Bona fide survey request of scam
Hello to you all
I've received an email from a Lena Chiu at "research@churchofjesuschrist.org" asking that I participate in a survey and which required that I click on a hyper link. The email has a large FamilySearch banner. The request though is signed off with a different address:

I'm very wary of any unknown emails requiring I click on a link. Can anyone tell me whether this is a bona fide request or just another internet scam?
Interestingly enough the email is written in French which I understand as I'm resident in France though all my dealings with Familysearch have been in English. In addition the text is full of praise and platitudes as well as being applicable to both male and female recipients. The whole thing just turned me off - however if really bona fide then I will reply.
Thanks in advance for any help

That is definitely a valid email address for Lena Chiu, who is indeed a researcher. If you're residence is in France, it makes sense that the email would be customized to your assumed language preference. So it all checks out, and you need have no worries about her email, if you'd like to participate.

Thank you for your reply. I've since been in touch with Lena Chiu and equally completed the survey.
I did make the suggestion that when asking someone to complete this survey or another the actual link to be found within the FamilySearch app rather than within the email as the former demonstrates it's validity whilst the latter is used by scammers.

But conversely, there will be people like myself who have no intention whatsoever of cluttering up our phones (even assuming we have smartphones) with the FS App
