How do I delete duplicate people

    Both myself and my sister are listed twice in my tree. How do I delete one of each

    Assuming that you are 100% certain that the duplicates represent yourself/your sister, not someone unconnected with you, you can use the Merge function.

    If they don't represent you/your sister (i.e. someone has erroneously given an unconnected person's profile a Parent/Child relationship to your parents) you should simply remove the offending Parent/Child relationship.

    @griffith51 If you see yourself and your sister listed twice, then you have added those profiles twice. Only the person who creates a profile for a living person can see it. Living profiles are private and hidden to all other tree users.

    The only exception would be if you are using the Group Tree Early Access. If that is the case, then you need to post in the dedicated group. https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/321-family-group-trees-feedback-early-access
