Unable to Merge
I am trying to merge DArwin L. James, LT5H-ZGS with a duplicate, Mr. Darwin L. "Goose" James, GFV7-3PH, but am getting a message that I can't merge them because they are married to each other. Someone did have them attached as spouses, however I removed the spouse relationship and it no longer shows in FT - I think there is something behind the scenes that still has them connected. FT does not show them connected anymore in what I can see.

I removed Mr. Darwin L. "Goose" James, GFV7-3PH (0 sources) from parents John Wesley James, LB23-7M8 and Viola Mae McGuire, LB2S-GHZ indicating duplicate. This left 'one' Darwin L. James, LT5H-ZGS (12 sources) as one of the children.

@Jordan5L That disconnected the person from the tree, but the duplicate profile still exists. What sgsreader wants is to combine the profiles through a merge, but there is a glitch preventing that from being done.

No - removing GFV7-3PH from his parents is NOT what needed to be done and doesn't help the situation. I need to merge the two duplicates.
Yes, the "glitch" is still there - I still can't merge them.

I restored the relationship with GFV7-3PH.
