FYI: New York Naturalizations

I have come across a number of New York Naturalizations where the Oath of Allegiance was not indexed. This has also been an issue with the Kansas Naturalizations. All Oaths, unless it is waived for a child applicant, must be indexed. If you are unsure of how to index an Oath, there is an example on how to index it in every Naturalization project under Project Instructions/What To Index.

Do you need to index a denial form also?

Yes, I believe so because it is part of the oath

Denials are indexed. From Project Instructions/What To Remember About This Project:

Naturalization records should be indexed regardless of whether citizenship was granted or denied.
