There are times when I am indexing, esp. on the naturalization records from N.Y. There were entries already and all I do is to check if there are details still needed or need to edit. How do we do it? Do I need to click on something? I just restarted doing indexing again.

If another indexer did not finish the project before the time ran out, or returned it without completing for whatever reason, then you may receive a project that is partially complete.

Each field is required in indexing. If there is no information for that field, ie Spouse's Surname, you will mark that field <BLANK> buy using Ctrl + B or clicking on the 4th icon from the right on the toolbar.

I have seen what you are describing @Sarah Rabor Tomada. I don't know why the entries are pre-filled sometimes when you first start a batch. But I think you are doing the correct thing by checking them for accuracy and then submitting the batch.

Since you are just restarting indexing, you might want to check out this video with tips and tricks.
