Can’t delete photos marked as “Limited Access.”
For every Memory you add, you have the option to set the visibility as “Public” or “Private.” If you have a Family Group Tree(s), you have the additional option to set the visibility as “Limited Access.”
If a Memory is marked as “Limited Access,” you cannot delete the photo. This is the same problem whether you are viewing a Memory from your Gallery or in a Family Group Tree Person Gallery.
This is a known issue that the Engineers are working on.

Is that true for anyone in the Family Group Tree, or can the administrator of the Family Group Tree at least delete or modify it? I would hope that the administrator(s) can at least modify/delete something from the tree.

For now, not even the administrator(s) of a Family Group Tree can delete. Modify yes. But not delete a Memory marked as "Limited Access." This is a known issue the Engineers are working to resolve.
Thanks for the patience!

The Memory Viewer has undergone several changes. One of them is to entirely remove "Limited Access" as a visibility option. (This was only an option for those using Family Group Trees.)
You can select Public (which is the default). Or you can select "Private." If you have Family Group Trees, then you are offered additional options after you click "Private."
