As I index, I encounter columns that are never filled with information and wonder if I can make the entire column "blank" with one keystroke instead of having to type ctrl B for all 350+ lines.

Mark the field(s) you want blank in the first entry. Go to the first field that was marked blank. On your toolbar, click on the 5th icon from the right. This will mark all subsequent fields (say the Prefix field) blank. If you have more fields that need to be marked blank, go to the remaining field(s) in the first entry (you'll have to do this with each field) and click on the same icon.

I should've said 6th icon from the right. It's the one that has three horizontal lines and the down arrow. The keyboard shortcut is Alt + Shift + D.
