@Julia Szent-Györgyi I am not sure if it's Germany or what country came from. I know that it is my que. I am not sure if this help or not. US, New York—Eastern District—Naturalization Records, 1891–1958 [Part G] [MQNG-V2B. It is on image 2 and entry 2.

Oh, it's an indexing batch?!
"What to Index" says:
Index only the following types of documents: Declarations of intention,
petitions for naturalization, military petitions, oaths of allegiance,
naturalization certificates, final orders, alien registrations,
repatriation records, certificates of admission, and name change
records.I can't quite figure out what kind of document the left-hand side is (the part that's in English), but the right-hand side definitely does not fall into any of the above categories, since it's not in English.
(For the curious, yes, it's in German, and it's a birth certificate.)

@Julia Szent-Györgyi I know that I only index those you have listed but since it is not in English, I had no idea of what kind/type of document it was. Thank you for your help it is greatly appreciated.

I think the writers of those instructions took it as given that all of the listed document types were definitionally in English, being issued by U.S. government entities.
(I don't know whether the U.S. actually has an official language. I remember learning in school that the Constitution doesn't declare one, except by implication [of being written entirely in English].)

@Julia Szent-Györgyi I find that very interesting. I wonder if that is because way back when there were people immigrating here and spoke many different languages that they didn't want to declare what specific language was going to be.
