Remove spouse not working
I have been trying for a couple of days to remove an incorrect spouse, I unmerged the correct spouse but am still unable to delete the incorrect one, I know the procedure and have done it many times in the past, however this is the second one that has been a problem in the last couple of days. I will need to go back to the first instance later as I was helping someone else, so its not in my recents, the one I am attempting to rectify at the moment is Elizabeth Crawford K8DX-NSN, I need to unlink her as the spouse of George Kennedy LJBN-3QC, It may just be a glitch in the Family Search System, but as it has persisted and I want to move on from it I am asking if it can be fixed from another area of expertise.

Just FYI, George Kennedy is LJNB-3QC. I first looked at LJBN-3QC, shown in your post, and that's someone else entirely. Two characters were transposed. I find copying and pasting the PID easier than typing it again because it's too easy to transpose characters.
Then, I also tried to detach Elizabeth K8DX-NSN from George LJNB-3QC with no result. Switching directions, I tried to detach George from Elizabeth; same no change.0 -
Thanks for your effort and sorry about the mistyped ID, it has now been fixed.

@Bryan, Thankyou such amazing quick work. can you tell me why this happened.

There's a mod response on this thread that touches on the "why" question (though it doesn't actually answer it).

I had this problem as well the last few days. I asked in a FB group and someone else was able to remove the incorrect spouse while I was not. A weird bug, but you are not alone in that others are having the same issue

I'm having the same issue, after checking everything and correcting sources, etc. Still won't allow me to remove the incorrect spouse but I was finally able to by using "replace" rather than "remove", making a spouse with same name as the correct one and merging the two after the incorrect spouse was (then, finally!) removed.
