I have a record #. Where do I put it?

FamilySearch uses the "CCCC-CCC" format as an identifier in several places, most notably in the collaborative Family Tree. That ID corresponds to a profile for a Jane Millicent Stewart; is that what you were expecting? (If so, that's a profile, not a record, no matter how many different ways all of the genealogy sites overuse the word "record".) You can use a profile ID (PID) to get to the corresponding profile in several ways; I simply went to a profile I already had open and replaced the ID in the URL, but I could have used the box at the top of Recents, or I could have searched by ID after choosing Family Tree - Find or Search - Family Tree from the top menu.
The hyphenated seven-character format also occurs in the URL of older index entries. (Newer ones have an eighth character after the dash.) However, https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:GD4P-VB5 gives 404 Page Not Found, so this identifier is not for an actual record.
The seven-character format is also part of the profile/entry identifier in several places in Genealogies, but neither "2:2:GD4P-VB5" (Pedigree Resource File) nor "2:1:GD4P-VB5" (International Genealogical Index) correspond to an entry, and there is no provision for searching the various collections by (a portion of an) identifier.

Good morning @Susan Quinn_3
GD4P-VB5 is a PID or profile identifying code for Jane Millicent Stewart. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/GD4P-VB5
If you want to Find that profile, use the Find by ID option at https://www.familysearch.org/search/tree/id?from=tree
It's SO much easier when we can use screenshots, but that option is still not functioning. From the top menu bar on most pages, select Family Tree. From the dropdown menu, select Find. Then, on the search box that appears, choose Find by ID, and enter the profile number.
