There are some features I like about this new format but for the most part I find that it is not very user friendly. It was very confusing to learn how to tag and after using it many many times I still find that I am confused about some of the tagging proceedures. It has always been a problem to get people to add the details but with the new format it will be even more difficult because it is not so obivous as the old format.

Becky Freeman Thank you for your feedback. Hopefully, it will be as easy as it was previously when we all get used to it. If it's helpful, you get stuck or need some tips and tricks on tagging procedures, maybe try setting up a free personal consultation at: Online Genealogy Help.

Looks good but when trying to attach a memory and select it from folders which we have out there for organization it does not allow you to pick from a folder. You have to do it only from the main page of your memories which is not good if you have hundreds of them in there. It's easier to go to where you have them organized and pick from there. Used to be able to do that but not now. Can we fix that?

I have entered albums, multiple stories and photos of my family. How does an outsider, looking at my family tree, know that these entries even exist?

PS Trying to use FamilySearch tools is very frustrating. Multiple explanations exist on how to do a single task, so it's sort of like a Mac user trying to function on a PC: it's very frustrating and confusing. The end results are wonderful though!

I completely disagree with the comment that I have pasted below. I feel that a lot of times, when I ask questions, a pre-defined answer is used without regards to even understanding the question or the problem at hand.

Thank you for your feedback. Hopefully, it will be as easy as it was previously when we all get used to it. If it's helpful, you get stuck or need some tips and tricks on tagging procedures, maybe try setting up a free personal consultation at: Online Genealogy Help.

It is hard to get people to add details anyway and not all people are computer literate and just 'get by'. If something is difficult to find, most people will just walk away from it rather than searching for a way to get it done. I am seeing more and more memories being added without details and without 3rd party ability to edit photos, there is no way for future generations to know what or who they are looking at. I don't see anyone asking for a 'free consultation' at all; I see people just stop using the site out of frustration.

The reason I use this site is for the benefit of future generations, but it is getting harder and more user un-friendly all of the time. I don't understand all the changes all the time unless it's merely job security for employees.
