Broken 'Next Page' on Searching Cemeteries
I've really enjoyed finding family burials using
However, I have trouble when I use the "Filter By" feature to show "My Relatives". The search results are a problem when I get more than one page of search results, I can only find information on the first page! When I select the icon to go to the next page, the user interface presents the same first page again, but labelled as page 2. The same happens for all additional pages. It seems to be presenting a new page of info because of the page number, but it only displays the info on the first page. This happens whether I have selected 10, 20, 50 or 100 records per page.
The same webpage seems to page fine when I am not using the "Filter By" using "My Relative" option.
Am I doing something wrong? Do any of you get this same thing?
Thanks!

Hello,
It would be helpful to know what information you are entering in the "Location or Site Name" field and what you are entering in the "Person's Full Name."
In trying to recreate the problem you experienced, I entered a city in the "Location or Site Name" and my relative's last name only in the "Person's Full Name." I then clicked on "My Relatives" and it opened to a page of all the Cemeteries in that city where I have relatives buried that are connected to me in FamilySearch by ID#, not just with the same last name that I entered. The largest was 49 where I thought all of my relatives in that area are buried, and the other 11 have a lesser number.

Thank you Linda for looking at this! You indicated that it would be helpful to know what information that I entered in the "Location or Site Name" field and what I entered in the "Person's Full Name."
I left those two fields blank, which produces a search result of approximately 3400 cemetery entries. With that many cemeteries, I would expect to move the page number many times to review all the cemeteries where I have buried relatives. I can move the page to the next and to the next, but the set of cemeteries on the screen stays the same.
I should mention "site type". I've tried with cemetery selected and without. Either way, I get many pages of results that I can't page through.
As for what you tried, you entered info into the two fields and were able to get as many as 49 results. That could work to demonstrate the problem. You'd need to change the number of results per page to be 10 or 20. Then you can try to page through the 49 search result entries.
Thank you again for trying this out.

I tried your link again and this time I did not enter any information. There are a total of 310,092 cemeteries. I took note of the cemetery names at the top of the page, then scrolled down to the bottom of the page and clicked on the > to page 2. I continued for 10 pages and each time, it returned a new listing of cemeteries.
Since there are a lot of cemeteries with the same names, I also took note of the places they are located to ensure I was seeing the next page and not a duplicate.
Have you tried using a different browser to see if you get the same results you got originally? I am using Google Chrome and it is working fine on that browser. If you are using Chrome, try clearing your cache/cookies and see if that helps.
If you are using a different browser, the next step would be to use the "Feedback" button on the far left to report the problem you are experiencing. Once you click on it, then click on an emoji face, and fill in the information including the url link from your original post and the browser you used.
Doing this will send your feedback directly to the department that maintains the Cemeteries site so that they can recreate and fix any problems.

Linda, what happens if you leave the search fields blank as before, but click the "My Relatives" button below them? It's my understanding that that's when the poster encountered the paging error.
I can't test it, as clicking that filter results in a grand total of three cemeteries for me.

Thank you Linda for trying again. The 310,092 results that you indicated is a significant number. It's the same number that I get when I DO NOT select filter by "My Relatives". So I think that what you did was to not select "My Relatives"
When I get the full 310,092 results, the paging works for me too. 👍️

You and Julia are both correct. I did not filter by "My Relatives." I tried again by clicking on My Relatives and my results were even more bizarre than yours were.
- The initial total number of cemeteries found was 4,627. I left the count at 100 per page. On page 1, I noted the name of the 1st Cemetery, it's location, and the number of relatives which was 2. I took a look at my relative's names in a new tab and then closed it. I took a screenshot and went to page 2.
- On page 2, the number of cemeteries found was 3,821. I saw the same first cemetery & location but this time it showed I had 3 relatives. When I clicked on it on the same page, it said "No relatives found." When I used the back button to return to the page before, the cemetery count changed again. But I did note that there were other cemeteries listed that had not been of the first page.
I didn't test any further, but it is obvious that there are more problems than just the cemeteries repeating on each page. I am going to use the Feedback button to report what I have found so that the steps can be recreated. I would recommend that you and anyone else who follows this discussion does the same because that is the best way to get it resolved.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I followed your directions and found the same things. I have escalated this issue. I really appreciate your detailed feedback.
