how can I prevent people from deleting relationships

My gg grandfather unfortunately is someone that either was a party of incest with two of his sisters or they simply used his name as the father of their children on their birth certificates, death certificates, and census records.

That being the case, well meaning researchers who are collarborating often find the need to delete my gggrandfather's parentage, stating he can't be the father of his sister's children.

I have noted the account- but it still keeps happening. Im sure its probably insulting to some to find they have a family member who was incestuous---

That being said, I just want to keep my historical record work intact.

Agreed with your general point here. That said, though, it's worth noting that his name could have simply been used as a placeholder. Sometimes this occurs. For instance, I have an aunt in Russia who had an illegitimate daughter over 40 years ago and who gave her daughter a tetronymic (based on the name of one of her daughter's maternal great-grandfathers) instead of a patronymic as the general traditional was and still is in Russia right now. (In other words, a pradedchestvo instead of an otchestvo.) She apparently wanted to keep the name of her daughter's father a secret, which is why she did this. We still don't know who her daughter's father is even right now, over 40 years later. So, it's possible that something similar was done in your own family's case. But it's just a hypothesis. Only DNA testing can reveal the truth, I would suspect.
