Is there some way to unsubscribe from notifications involving famous relatives, who do you look like, and those types of things? I mean, short of disabling all notifications?

Under settings on familysearch.org, you can unselect any/all Notifications categories. In my experience, some messages still get through, but those I just delete.

Thank you! I missed noticing the tabs. My choices look different from yours, but probably because I don't use my phone (so no text messaging) and I don't have the Family Groups (but I've not signed up for that).
