Merging Records - partially working

It seems that when after merging the data points and providing a statement in the "Reason to Attach Source" the REASON isn't uploaded. This was working prior to the resent upgrade to the GUI.

I think by "merging records" you actually mean "attaching sources using Source Linker", right?
Are you referring to the fact that the new version of Source Linker has done away with the old one's weird behavior of conflating attachment reasons with conclusion reasoning? If so, that change has been mentioned in the appropriate Group (https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/158648/what-i-add-in-reason-to-attach-source-does-not-show-up-on-the-details-page#latest).
