Hello,
Oddly enough I found an ancestor on a game! How does one document the source?

To document this source, follow these steps:
- Go to person's profile page
- click "Sources"
- Click "+ Add source"
- Select "add new source" from popup
- fill in the blanks
- probably you want to uncheck "add source to my source box"
- click "save".

Adding to fbax's instructions: the only required field is the title, but even there, there are no requirements about the content or format. I suggest something that will identify the type of source and who it's about: "Historica fandom wiki entry on Simon Steinhauser", for example.
The URL goes in the "Web page (Link)" box, of course. The "Citation" box should ideally hold enough information to find the entry again if the site re-organizes and changes its links, but being unfamiliar with this particular fandom, I'm not sure what information that would be. I suppose you could start with something like "Historica fandom wiki, formerly called 'Total War: Alternate Reality Wiki', entry on Simon Steinhauser, Prussian soldier". Or just leave it blank. The entry is short enough that I'd probably end up entering most of it in the Notes field anyway, making the question of website evaporation or reorganization mostly moot.
