Discovery Person Page - Detail Person Page Link

I like the Detail Person Page. It works pretty great. I often got to the page when searching a cemetery for my relatives. For example, this page helps me with my relatives buried in the Payson Cemetery: www.familysearch.org/en/cemeteries/sites/58645/payson-city-cemetery

All that's great. However, in the top right of a discovery page, there's a link that should take me to the detail person page. The link text reads, "GO TO DETAIL PERSON PAGE". The link seems to be broken on every discovery page. Instead of the correct link, all the pages link to https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/undefined

The "undefined" part is where the familysearch person ID should be.

Please correct this. 😊 Thank you!

    What discovery page?

If I go to that cemeteries page and click a name, I get the same new-style person card as on the new pedigree views.

It has big buttons for "Person" and "Tree". Both the Person button and the person's name link directly to the profile's Details page. In fact, I cannot find anything anywhere that's labeled "discovery".

Are you perhaps not logged in when you access the cemetery page? Details pages are only accessible after login, so perhaps that's the source of the error?

I encountered this same issue for both persons with BAX surname in Parkhill Cemetery, Ontario.

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/cemeteries/sites/67947/parkhill-cemetery?showMap=false&selectedSiteTypes=CEMETERY&regionId=ChIJrxNRX7IFzkwRCR5iKVZC-HA&page=0&pageSize=50&showOriginal=true&relativesOnly=false&searchText=Bax&relativeId=&sortOrder=asc

As Julia mentioned, clicking the name then "Person" takes you to detail page for that person.

But if you right-click the name select "open in new tab" then you are taken to a discovery page where the problem reported by scote is found.

Hmm... Both the 'Person' button and 'right-click' to go a Detail Page work for me. I'm a Mac running Safari. Perhaps try clearing cookies?

Thank you all for your responses. As mentioned by fbax, I've been opening links with a right-click and selecting 'open in new tab'. This allows me to examine many or all of the people listed in the cemetery. I never would have guessed that opening the link in two different ways would get you to two different pages! I'd like both to go to the person page, or perhaps fix the right click option to give a fully enabled discovery page.

Now that I know, I'll first click the link, THEN right click and open in a new tab. ☺️✌️
