What different information is available at a FH Center rather than Ancestry
I have an ancestry.com account and am wondering if I visit a Family History Center, would I be able to access the actual records or will I still only be able to access the indexes?

You can access MANY records at a FamilySearch Center that you cannot access with an Ancestry account or using FamilySearch at home.
FamilySearch Centers provide access to FindMyPast.com, MyHeritage.com, newspaper sites (varies by location), and many other websites.
Also, many records on FamilySearch.org cannot be viewed at home but can be viewed at a FamilySearch Center or Affiliate Library. Those records have restricted access based on the contract between FamilySearch and the record holder (the city, state, church or other body).
As an example, this is a record on my list for my next visit to my local Affiliate Library https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q2MQ-29JC I cannot view the image of the death certificate at home, only the index. When I go to the library, I'll be able to see the image of the death certificate and download it for my files.
