I can't react to posts on the Labs related groups, surely it would be helpful to FS' feedback handling if we could Agree others' posts (just as one example)?

@MandyShaw1 As I explained on another occasion, the option to react has been broken in groups for a few weeks. Mods are aware. I'm sure RootsTech is taking precedence over almost everything else right now.

Didn't think a mention would hurt given there will presumably be lots of new members!

I have just succeeded in Agreeing 2 comments on a Lab group! Thank you.

But, it appears that I can no longer see my (or anyone else's) name listed when I hover over reactions, is that intentional?

Thank you for restoring part of the "reactions" process to Groups. I can once again approve of postings there in four different ways.

However, I now can't tell whether I've already done so or not, neither in Groups, nor anywhere else in the Community.

I mean, gee, really, the thing I'm hovering over that's labeled "Like" is a ..."Like"? What I actually need to know is whether that thumbs-up was me or someone else. There's absolutely no point to a tooltip that just repeats the existing label!

Is this just an interim state while they work on the reactions settings? I hope?

I see that Agree and Insightful have disappeared. Why? None of the other reactions give the same messages (if anything, Like is the most meaningless). Have existing Agree/Insightful reactions been lost, or translated into (say) Like?

Reactions in the Agree/Insightful categories are lost, not moved to one of the other categories. 4 kinds of like were always too many. A touch of transparency would have been appreciated.

I kept meaning to dig up this thread to post a thank you for halving the number of "yes" synonyms; it's refreshing -- although I do hope that nobody was particularly attached to the totals, since they appear to have been thrown out.

However, I think I'm not alone in thinking that I would have appreciated some warning ahead of time of the intention to trash "agree" and "insightful" -- I might have stopped using them, so that my expressions of approval wouldn't have been thrown away like this.

The new problem remains, unfortunately: the fact that an approval is mine has been hidden. We still only have the laughably-pointless tooltip that duplicates the existing label. I'm still desperately hoping that it's an interim state, given that we still can't downvote suggestions, but it has been several days, and I haven't seen anything on the topic from anyone in charge.

The ability to see names when hovering over a reaction has been restored.
