Why I cannot add my wife with ID number? She has an account.

She has an account. But when I try to add her the system only gives the option to create a new record.

and if I create a new record and try to merge says that one has a condition that prohibit changes and not sure what it is!

many thanks

For the protection of the living, only the person who creates a profile for a living person can view it.

Your wife's profile, which she created, is in her private space. You will create a separate profile for your wife that will only reside in your private space.

Agree with the above comment. Something else you can do is add your spouse manually by filling in her information and then adding some of her deceased ancestors (which will then connect them into your tree).
