Why were the Statistics deleted from 2012-2015?
Howdy community
I went into the statistical section of familysearch today to view my personal contributions and noticed that everything was deleted from 2012-2015. The years are still listed but the "stats" are gone....missing, like I didn't do anything during that time period. I show that portion of FamilySearch to patrons in our Center so they feel good about their contributions to the Family Tree. It is disappointing that someone decided that it is not important for patrons to see their contributions and accomplishments over the years.
Thanks for any thoughts on this. Arleen

I still see my contributions back to 2012, so what you are seeing is not a universal problem. I'd recommend that you contact Support for help with your particular issue.

Mine are missing too except for a 2 in 2012

Mine are still visible. I was not very active in the tree until about 2019, but the earlier years are there.

Maybe the tracking database is incomplete prior to about 2016?
Granted, I think it's basically accurate for me: I think I started indexing circa 2012 (my FS account was created in August of that year), and was active on FS's forum connected to that (until it was discontinued, I think in 2013), but my first edit to my own profile (adding my dad) was in 2018. (My profile was created in 2014, credited to FamilySearch.) Looking through The Famous Relative's profile (which is one of the things I "blame" for my
obsession::ahem, sorry, I mean:: hobby), I see that I made some edits in 2013, and then nothing until 2015.My recollection is imperfect, but it is my impression that opening the collaborative tree to the general public was not immediately implemented, or not properly communicated, in 2012. When I started on genealogy in 2010, FS's tree was an LDS-only section, and information about it was incomplete and self-contradictory. The schizophrenic reputation of FS already existed: people acknowledged that it was where all the records were, but nonetheless made vague warnings about data quality. (Then as now, people couldn't tell the different parts apart.)

I tried different browsers, but am getting the same result. So, still okay for me.

I checked in both Chrome and Firefox, both fully updated, on Windows 10. I also checked the App on my Android tablet. All the same for me.

I have asked for your contributions count to be reviewed. It is unknown how long the review will take or where you are in the team's queue. I will let you know when I hear something back.

@Maile L , these are not indexing counts, but rather the statistics from My Contributions shown on the Family Tree menu, or directly at https://www.familysearch.org/tree/contributions/stats

As you can see from the image below, compared to earlier this year, stats for about 80,000 individuals disappeared. Does anyone have any clue what happened?
