Does the new SourceLinker not properly save text?

Text typed into the text boxes in the new SourceLinker does not seem to get saved properly. For example, replacing "Same Place" in the 1935 US Census location with the location from 1940 does not get saved (still says "Same Place" on the Details page).

Also, it seems like even if I select a validated location in other blanks in the new SourceLinker, when I go back to the Details page, only the text of the non-validated location displays (although clicking on it seems to show the full validated location).

Just to confirm, in many cases in the new SourceLinker, when I enter the "standardized" dates (where the little calendar icon appears) and standardized locations (where the little location marker icon appears), the standardized dates and locations do not get saved for display on the Details page. I have to back into the Details page to change them again to display properly, although sometimes the underlying location seems to reflect the full standardized data. This did not happen with the old version of the SourceLinker.

This bug seems 100% reproducible in the Burial field. When the cemetery is a standardized location, only the rest of the location gets displayed on the Details page, although the cemetery is sometimes in the underlying location when you click on it. In order to display the cemetery location directly on the Details page, you have to go in and edit the field again from the Details page.

A lot of people have reported this and there has been a reply posted that the programmers are aware of this bug and are working on a fix.
