Feedback Tab

I have spent over 30 minutes trying to find a screen that has the Feedback tab.

While in the process of adding a Memory to a person, and trying to complete the “Description” box for that memory, I just wanted to make a comment regarding the changes made to use the Description box. Trying to find the Feedback tab at the left border is daunting. What screen do I go to to find it? Being sidetracked and leaving the person you’re working on and getting back to the same place and task in a timely manner is important to me.

Simply, an Article ID listing the “places” or pages where the Feedback tab is located would be helpful as the tab is on only listed on a few screens and seems hidden and unavailable. I don’t want to leave the person I am working on to give feedback or make a comment, or go to the Community and receive conflicting comments or no assistance. The Help Desk with a live body is not 24/7.

But now that I’m totally sidetracked, sincerely I thank you for your time. I will contact the Help Desk during their open hours regarding the Description box on the Memory.

Not every screen has a Feedback tab. And Feedback tabs are specific to the screen/action. See this comment from @Sam Sulser https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/comment/541137/#Comment_541137

@GloriaHorrellKendallUdy Sorry for your frustration! The post that Áine directed you to has some info about how the feedback buttons work. They aren't on every page. So you would need to contact us in a different way as you said by coming here to the community or contacting us via another support channel. We strive to answer all questions/concerns and get to the correct people for an answer. Our community members are usually quite good at answering questions though. If you feel you are getting conflicting answers, you can @mention myself, our community manager, @Stephanie V. , or @Maile L to resolve the conflicting info. Also any answer from one of us is usually correct. I say usually, because we make mistakes too - LOL 🙄 Sam
