I received a link to documents from a member who posted on my family tree. He has forwarded documents he has found regarding my family. The documents are in German. Is there someone I can forward this link to have them translated to English?

@NancyKaruhn Please join and post in the Germany Research Group. We have several members qualified to translate German documents.

I posted the link as a question on the German Research Group. If there is a better way, please let me know. I tried to give us much information as to what I am looking for in the documents I received.

    Sincerely,

    Nancy Karuhn

Whether you post here or in the Germany Research Group, you are relying on the same outcome: a willing volunteer reading your request and offering their help with the required translations.

As FamilySearch as an organisation does not provide such services, you will have to be patient, in the hope someone will eventually offer help. Otherwise, you will probably need to find a professional translator.

Nancy, you joined the group less than an hour ago, and it's Sunday afternoon. As Paul suggests, patience.
