Multiple Gedcoms

Are you talking about in Family Tree or just in the Genealogies section?
Regarding Family Tree: There is just one tree. There is no "my tree." All users can see all deceased people. So if you have uploaded a GEDCOM and transferred data to Family Tree then every FamilySearch user can see all the information you uploaded and edit it as needed. This would be the same for a GEDCOM containing information about your wife's family when you have transferred the information to Family Tree. You, and all users will be able to see the information regarding deceased individuals and be able to work with those profiles by adding or correcting information as needed.
You cannot transfer living people from a GEDCOM into Family Tree.
Regarding the Genealogies section: If you have just uploaded the GEDCOM to preserve it as part of the Pedigree Resource File section of Genealogies, then again all users can see the information for deceased people. Only you will be able to see information there for living people. Again the same would be true for any GEDCOM you upload with your wife's family information. If you upload it under your account only you can see living people. If you upload it under her account, only she will be able to. No editing can be done in Pedigree Resource File trees by you or anyone else.

Well then I need an education...regarding transferred data to Family Tree, perhaps I am not aware of those steps. Similarly, preserve it as part of the Pedigree Resource File, suppose I am not aware of those steps either.
In the Geneologies section, I uploaded a Gedcom. Once it completed, it simply shows "Ready". I've not done anything further. I appreciate your reply and any other light you can shed for me - thanks.

A few months ago I did a strictly unofficial presentation for a group of Norwegians about the use of GEDCOMs. When I do these, I create it with English text first then translate it, then narrate it in Norwegian. Later in response to a question here, I did a quick English narration that I really should redo someday. But it gets the point across even though all the illustrations are in Norwegian. The use of GEDCOMs to get information into the PRF then Family Tree is rather complex and really only a demonstration like mine covers what you need to know.
There must be better ones out there, but this is all I can offer: https://youtu.be/oy33IPRKhhw
