New Source Linker - When a source has been attached to two individuals
I've noticed twice today that when I attempt to detach a source from the incorrect of two individuals, it is instead detached from the person I want it to be attached to.
Seems like there must be a bug.

Me too. See Lawrence Absalom Glaze KLL5-4CN. There are two research hints. They both refer to the same source document, an Oklahoma school enrollment. On the document it contains two names of the parent: Mrs L A Glaze, which is the mother, whose name is Mary Almeda Morrison, and L A Glaze which refers to the father. Detaching the source from them and attaching to the correct persons doesn't seem to work.
This sounds similar to the problem stated at the beginning, but maybe it's a different problem.

Thanks for your report. I have sent it for review. I will let you know when I hear something back.

This problem is related to the records indexed and not source linker.
If you go to Change Person on the left side and select L A Glaze, it will show you that the source is attached to the correct Person ID.
However, the Research Help blue icon still appears. I have sent it for review as that is indeed a bug.

There's some sketchiness in general with detaching from the source linker, especially when it comes to retired or removed records -- they end up in a bizarre zombie state where they're still in the Sources list, but don't show as linked in the linker.

@RTorchia I can't particularly comment on your claims, but what you are saying really has nothing to do with this thread. There are no retired or removed records involved in this source for the Glaze family. If you have something specific to report, I'd recommend that you start a new thread.
What is reported about the Glaze family is a common issue when a woman is referred to as Mrs. <Husband's name>. The source is correctly attached, with the record for Mrs. L A Glaze attached to Mary Almeda Morrison (who is indeed Mrs. Lawrence Absalom Glaze), and the record for L A Glaze correctly attached to Lawrence Absalom Glaze, as can be seen when you use Change Person on the right side to choose Mary; see https://www.familysearch.org/search/linker?ark=/ark:/61903/1:1:QGYQ-QJZF&id=K89J-8BT .
What @ScottSeegmiller confidently reported as a bug is simply a reasonable record hint that needs to be dismissed -- the record hint for a record that refers to Mrs L A Glaze was provided as a hint for L A Glaze KLL5-4CN. That's understandable, since the names "Mrs L A Glaze" and "L A Glaze" are so similar. It's certainly not a bug that the record hint for the husband to be connected to the wife's record still appears -- after all, the wife's record is not attached to him (and should not be), and the fact that the husband's record is correctly attached to the husband and the wife's record is correctly attached to the wife does not (and should not) make the husband's hint for the wife's record go away. Someone simply needs to click "Not a Match" for that hint for Lawrence Absalom Glaze. Until that happens, reviewing the husband's hint for the wife's record will continue to look a bit odd: https://www.familysearch.org/search/linker?ark=/ark:/61903/1:1:QGYQ-QJZF&id=KLL5-4CN because the pairings are reversed.
Note that this issue of confusion with a wife being listed with her husband's name is exactly the same as it has always been; you'll see the same behavior with the old source linker.
Note also that this discussion of the issue raised by @Thomas L Sanders really sounds quite different from the original post by @KariM -- Thomas is talking about the case of multiple record hints for the same role in a record, but as near as I can tell the record was only ever attached to a single Tree person. But it appears to me that Kari was talking about a case where the record was actually attached to two different Tree persons and she was attempting to detach it from one of them. Since no specific record links or PIDs were provided, it's difficult to make any specific comments on that topic.
