Report: Feedback tab error

Maile L, someone just pointed me to this thread so I went back and tried to use the Feedback tab (first time ever). I got the message "An error has prevented the requested action. Please visit the FamilySearch Community for help or to report an issue.", so the Feedback is definitely NOT the best way to let the team know about the problems we are having.
I was trying to make sense of the 1860 Census for the family of Daniel Roberts Turner (G7SZ-NQN); it's image 487 (of 555) in the Census for Cobb County, Georgia, United States, lines 8 - 19. The image is very faded, the family (of 17!) gave only initials, and the Indexer made several avoidable mistakes. For about five family members, I edited the index and corrected the 2nd initial in the "Given Name" field, and made absolutely no other changes (didn't touch the "Name" field). I saw the corrections stick, but their displayed names did not change. I was able to see and use the index for the rest of the day. After I logged in the next morning, lines 8 - 19 were not in the Index pane; the family above the Turners is now followed immediately by the family below the Turners - even though I did not touch approx. twelve members of the Turner family.
Oh, there *was* one other change I made and unmade. When saving each middle-initial edit, I saw a message saying something about "too many principals" on the page. So I unchecked the "Principle" setting for one person (E V Turner, I believe). IIRC, it only de-bolded her name, which was unlike every other Census page I've seen - so I quickly made her a Principle again and carried on changing the middle initials of three(?) more of the family.
My email addy should be in my profile - I created an account for FamilySearch's exclusive use. But I haven't implemented DMARC or DKIM yet, so your mail servers might not talk to mine. Wouldn't the engineers be able to reach any us through Chat?
Thanks for helping.

Based on what a mod said earlier in this thread do I need to also report it via the feedback tab? It sounds like that tab is broken anyway?

@mayimagpie We have found that some pop-up blockers do not allow the feedback tab to work properly. The tab will give you five emojis to choose from and then after you select one, there will be a box where you can type your message. Please see comments here and here for details.
@Michael W. McCormick Your report was merged here. You are welcome to report your issue using the feedback tab if you wish, but we have alerted engineers to the problem.
@Eric8090 If you have received an error message while using the Feedback tab, please post any screenshots and a link to where you got the error message so we can escalate that to be fixed.
