Why did 'Mayflower Descendants Search' stop working for me?
Hi folks, I'm a new user of FamilySearch.
I was recently directed to your website from this page: https://themayflowersociety.org/genealogy/genealogy-tips-tools/ , which advised me that I could: "Search Mayflower Pilgrim Genealogies" at FamilySearch.
This feature worked just fine last week when I first tried it, but then it stopped working after a day or so. Now, every time I enter a known valid descendant name, I get this error message: "No Results Found".
Is this function out of order for everyone, or is it just me doing something wrong? That is a great feature, so I'd really love to have it working again!
I sure hope I didn't break your website... ;)

I get the same "no results" when searching in the Mayflower database.

I'm not getting anything, even though I have Mayflower Passengers listed as my direct ancestors in My Famous Relatives, and those are still showing up. It may be an issue specifically with the Mayflower Descendants Search.

@Gregory9573 In my reply, I tagged the primary managers of this Community, who will report to Tech. It was Friday afternoon when I tagged them. It's Sunday night now in the USA. I'm sure it will be reported shortly.

Thanks to each of you for confirming that I'm not the only user affected by this glitch!
Later tonight I'll look for a way to report this outage to the technical staff who can fix it. In the meantime I've joined American Ancestors where their Mayflower descendant search function still works.
Note: My genealogy work has been on hold for 20 years, but I recently saw a random YouTube video about Mayflower descendants that rekindled my interest. I now realize that if I can break through 2 or 3 generations of serious blockage from my side, I can then link up with 5 generations of confirmed lineage to a Mayflower passenger. So I've added this goal to my "bucket list". ;)
