In person research help
Hello! I live in South Lake Tahoe, California and am on a committee working to restore a historical cemetery here. The ownership of the cemetery was questionable for many many years and no clear records exist. I found a book published in 1959 that has a list of our cemetery burials- the earliest list we have been able to find. The only copy in existence is on microfilm at the Family Search Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is not digitized, so it would have to be looked up manually.
There was a in-person volunteer team at the Center previously, but that program was discontinued in August. Is there any one who still volunteers this kind of help or is there someone (reputable) that could be hired for a small fee?
Any advice, suggestions, help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You might start with the Free Research Consultation option. https://go.oncehub.com/ResearchStrategySession

I wasn't sure if the consultation would be with someone who is in Salt Lake City. I would hate to waste their time if not. I will look into though. Thank you for the suggestion!

Sorry, the virtual consultations people cannot get records from the library. You could try the Association of Professional Genealogists directory and find someone in the Salt Lake area who can help you: https://www.apgen.org/directory?current_page=1&sort_type=featured&asset_type=company_user&display_type=default

@Melissa24414 I have some clarification. The Lookup service for records at the FamilySearch Library was discontinued. You can still request a consultation. If you will provide the url or title and author or other details that would identify the book, I would be happy to inquire about the restrictions.

Thank you so much for the offer! Here's a link to the book. I would only need a few pages from it. https://libcat.familysearch.org/Record/751650?searchId=7438836&recordIndex=1&page=1
