In the last day or so, I've had issues with many record images simply failing to load. These are images that should be viewable when signed in (US census records, passenger ship lists, etc.) but the image never appears and it seems like the viewer is struggling to retrieve the image information it needs; the image index is never populated, nor is the DGS number and the images' sequence within the film (image 245 of 375, etc). I just received a message from a research collaborator on the other side of the world that they are experiencing the same issue (various browsers and operating systems -- all up-to-date; also tried clearing cache). Sometimes reloading the page after a minute or two will yield a better result. When might we expect more stability?

I had a similar problem yesterday. I was able to see the images, but there was a persistent red "Error in loading image. Please try again later." These were also unrestricted images normally viewable anywhere. They were not indexed, and each time I flipped to the next page in my browsing, I got the error message.
