MMMF-9LW memory says "Processing Failed"
Hi there. Even though it says "Processing Failed", the document still shows if I click on it. Will it eventually disappear?
This is the individual's ID number that I added (attached) the document to, MMMF-9LW

Which one?
Failed meant failed. One of reasons is the size of the PDF file.

@Arleen Craig Ellis, he means that Thomas Craig's profile has 15 memories, three of them PDFs; which of those is the one you're having trouble with?
(As far as I know, PDFs are the only potentially-multi-page file type that the Memories section handles.)

Carefully read the Submission Agreement.
Format and file size limits
- Documents: .pdf file formats up to 15 MB. Convert other document formats such as .doc and .docx files to .pdf before you upload.
- Photos: .jpg, .png, .tif, and .bmp file formats up to 15 MB.
- Audio: mp3, m4a, and .wav up to 15 MB
Please be aware that .pdf is the only supported file type that can include multiple pages.
Can you check the size of the PDF file?
You may have to break it up into multiple PDF files.
www.Ilovepdf.com will help you to slip a PDF iof you do not own the full version of Acrobat.

Arleen - we are not seeing this one because it is still blocked due to the size of the PDF itself.
How many pages in the PDF? How many photos in the PDF?
You will have to divide the PDF.

The file is only 6.2MB

I deleted the file from my memories and re-added it. It is processing. We will see what happens.
Update: it appears to be working thus far......Ooooops, it failed again.

I am getting the same problem on small pdf files (less than 500k). Of 5 I tried to upload, 3 worked fine, but two have failed. I tried deleting and re-upload, I tried clearing out cookies, I tried a different browser, I tried renaming the files.

Sounds like more of a system error than the size of the pdf

The file was still there the last time I looked but still showed an error. I was planning on having my hubby look at it with his sign in, to see if he could see it. Haven’t done that yet.

@Arleen Craig Ellis I do not see the document "Generations Come Together" in the memories for Thomas Craig MMMF-9LW. I will send it to the developers to take a look.

On Family Search Memories Find I entered "Families Come Together" and found your document. You can now tag it to Thomas Craig. MMMF-9LW.
So it saved it but it did not tag it to the correct person.
