The quick answer is YES! Thank you for wanting to preserve your family group information.
There are a few articles covering donations of historical records to FamilySearch.

Hello Carolyn
Thank you for asking on behalf of your friend if large binders of family group sheets can be donated to the FamilySearch Centre to be digitalised and if the binders would be returned afterwards.
The FamilySearch Centre welcomes donations of compiled family histories that add new information to FamilySearch’s collections and all donations become the property of FamilySearch.
The guidelines for gifts and donations can be found here https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/img_auth.php/0/0d/Gifts_and_Donations_Policy-final.pdf
The FamilySearch Wiki also has an article on FamilySearch Centre Donations at https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/FamilySearch_Library_Donations
I hope this information helps your friend decide if the binders conform to the guidelines and policy. If she feels they do, the information on how to donate is found here https://www.familysearch.org/en/library/donations#literary-donations
Thank you for assisting your friend and for using FamilySearch.
