What am I doing wrong with FHL Number search?
I am using Windows 11 and trying to use the Film/Fiche/Image Group Number (DGS) search engine but when I click on the link on the Search/Catalog page the data entry box for the FHL number doesn't appear. It works on my android mobile phone. I checked the Wiki pages and YouTube videos on how to do it and they both show that a data entry box appears when that link is clicked. What am I doing wrong?

Can you show where you are trying to search by DGS number? In the images section? In the catalog? In records search?
For example, in records search, the field for the DGS number is near the bottom. You have to first click the Image Group Number (to the right of Batch Number) for the field to open.

When I go to https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog and click on Film/Fiche/Image Group Number (DGS) it greys out but nothing happens.
If I use my android phone at the same address it works.

@PeterRoberts66, that's Very Strange.
If I click the "Film/Fiche..." text, I get a grey-framed box into which I can enter the number.
This is in Firefox (latest/current version) and Win10.
Given that it works fine for others, and for you on your phone, I suspect that your browser has "helpfully" saved a faultily-loaded version of the page. You should be able to restore functionality by thwacking it on the metaphorical head with a metaphorical broom: delete your browser's FS-related saved files (cache and cookies), make sure it is up to date, and then try again.

@PeterRoberts66 Have you tried accessing the DGS number catalog search using a different browser on your PC? If it works there, it is almost surely a cookies/cache-related issue as Julia described.
