Is there a place for known technical issues in FS?
Is there a place to go where known (current) technical issues are posted?
I have a regular patron that starting yesterday cannot access his family tree. He is signed in, he can access his home page, he can access his person page IF he accesses it through recents.
But if he clicks tree, even on his person page, he gets Internal Service Error.
He is using his Mac laptop with Safari and absolutely refuses to have Chrome on his laptop.
We are on hold for support (25 min) but it would be helpful if issues like this are documented somewhere so we do not need to wait for support.

He ought to add Firefox and/or Vivaldi on his computer. Safari sometimes does not play nice with FamilySearch. If he has his computer in stealth-mode Chrome is not a good choice either.
Check for Sunspot activity. Internal Service error?

A few weeks ago I was on my Mac in Safari using FS as usual, closed the tab, came back an hour or so later and returned to FS but the display had changed to the mobile app. I called FamilyTree support, the sister Splashtop-ed in to see the issue and take screenshots, which she then reported to the engineers. She recontacted me a week or so later to get some additional info, and I've not heard back from them since. I still can only see the mobile app display in Safari for everything in FS except the Community, which appears in web view (and of course has a different sign-in). Using Chrome I can see all of FS normally.
(The OS is Ventura 13.5.1 for anyone wondering if that's the problem. Restarting, and clearing caches/cookies/etc has no effect; the support sister already took me through those steps.)

We were able to fix the problem by deleting Safari History.

Who knew that cleaning up Safari History would fix that? Good to know.
