I have a census source where a child from a family from a previous census page was grouped with the first next family on the child's page. Can the source be fixed to have the whole family on one source?

let me know if you find something similar again

I think the issue is that the links are based census pages

and the system doesnt link to multiple pages

But Id need to see a specific case

what is important is that the family is complete in FamilyTree

no so much that the family is complete on the census record/image.

Could you let us know if this question is about indexing a record or a source on FamilyTree?

I found this problem few days ago. I did not record the person's name and I have forgotten it now. It was in my Family Tree.

1920 U.S. census, City of Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan
Beginning with image 804, or page 103, sheet 6A

Sheets 6B, 7A, 7B, and 8A contain duplicate pages, causing families to be incorrectly arranged. Specifically, two scans of sheet 7B were included, not one. Thus, the sheets are: 6A, 6B, 7A, 7B, 7B, 7A, 8A. Sheets appear to be in chronological order before 6B and after 8A.

Because sheets 7A and 7B are used twice, families beginning at the bottom of the page are connected to children who don't belong to them.

(Note: I found this because I was trying to correct this record in the BYU Record Linking Lab, Task #2: 1913 Cohort Study.)

The persons in question are: Dorothy and Doris B, who appear in families within these pages. These families begin at the bottom of the sheet and continued on the next sheet.

    Sheet 6B, lines 99-100:
Roy Willis, age 26, born Michigan, Stationery Engineer
Grace Willis, age 26, born Michigan, no occupation
    Sheet 7A, lines 1-4:
Walter Willis, age 7, born Michigan
David Willis, age 5, born Michigan GRD3-H2W/
Dorothy Willis, age 3, born Michigan GRD3-W66/
Jack Willis, age 5 months, born Michigan GRDQ-725/

    Sheet 7A, lines 48-50:
Jacob Birke, age 36, immigrated 1907, born Germany
Anna Birke, age 37, born Canada
Earl R Birke, age 12, born Michigan
    Sheet 7B, lines 1-2:
Harold R Birke, age 11, born Michigan GRNW-V3Q/
Doris B Birke, age 1 year 11 months, born Michigan

    Sheet 7B, lines 98-100:
Joseph Jasinski, age 58, born Poland, immigrated 1906 GRD3-R4V/
Brigida Jasinski, age 57, born Poland, immigrated 1909 GRD3-C7B/
Walter Jasinski, age 22, born Poland, immigrated 1909 GRDQ-MW9/
    Sheet 8A, lines 1-2:
John Jasinski, age 20, born Poland, immigrated 1909
Rose Jasinski, age 16, born Poland, immigrated 1909
