I have seen this before - where the submitter simply made the mistake of adding the mother in the fathers place and adding the mother in the fathers place. Its not as hard as you would think to actually do that. and if that was done - you would actually have to disconnect the relationships and re-connect I believe if you were to fix it. This can also happen if you mis click the gender on the first parent that you add.

Consistent family tree position
On the tree view my name (as a woman) just flipped to the top. The tree should be consistent throughout, men on top and women on the bottom.

Thank you for looking into this. It is still this way, but look down at the next reply. Apparently it is a "BUG" according to an official Family Search Representative and they are working to fix it.
