New York State Census, 1905 Major Problems Associated persons may not be relatives.
This page https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:SPN5-94M
indicates that Catharine Meagan, 65 is Mother in law for Clarence J Meade and thus her daughter Agnes J Meade
NO Image is immediately available, but a similar record may be found here
Which lists the household members together
Household Members (Name) Age Relationship
Clarence J Meade 27 Head
Agnes J Meade 19 Wife
Catharine Meagan 65 Mother-in-law
Patrick J Meagher 42 Boarder
WHEN you look at the records at Ancestry, they are cards, with limited relatives shown, BUT the addresses DO NOT MATCH as one would expect for one household, or the other record information on the card, with small differences for sequence, as follows
Catharine Meagan Image 1441 of 2464, State Street, District 1, page 35, line 30;
Clarence J Meade AND Agnes J, Image 1440 of 2464, Alexandria Rd, District 1, page 45, line 44-45;
Patrick J Meagher Image 1442 of 2464, State Street, District 1, page 40, line 44;
THE ONLY THING IN COMMON for these records is the sequence, which appears to be alphabetical.
I know Family Search is not Ancestry, but you both seem to have used a corrupted database.
I Looked briefly for Catharine Meagan' daughter in the Branagan section, and did a wider search at Ancestry in their version of New York, U.S., State Census, 1905, without success.
Catherine Sullivan Megan is here https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/GVXC-XBG
Per the 1910 Census, she is the mother of one child, one living, already identified, so Agnes would not be her child!
Agnes Jane Downey Meade is here https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/9WJR-G56
This is not the only record with this problem, see
Household Members (Name) Age Relationship
Thomas Meegan 67 Head Image 1443 No address, District 2, page 29 line49;
Mary M Meister 18 Servant Image 1444 School St. District 1, page 27, line 10
I do not know if this problem extends to the whole 1905 Census, or only the Jefferson / Wilna / Not Stated set (Ancestry Terminology); though cards such as
https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/7364/images/004518953_03795
Have Indexing that does NOT match the card (apparently out of sync by 1 image; again not your problem but possible.

Looking at a couple of towns, some have the whole household on one card so the problem may be limited, others in other counties seem to have books. Based on what is on the cards, they appear to reference books that no longer exist? A question I ask after looking at other counties and towns.
I tagged @Áine Ní Donnghaile since I saw that she had already made mention of problems she had see in the 1905 New York census.
I hope the detail helps isolate the problem. Thank you.

Thank you so much for reporting the relationship error. There is currently nothing that can be done to fix how there cards were grouped. The best option is to attach the record to each person listed and then make a note of the relationship error on the source list. You can see if Ancestry has the ability to make changes. I wish I had a better answer for you.
