choosing a place where records were found to post on FS tree

The records were found in Kröffelbach, Wetzlar, Coblenz, Rheinland, Preussen. (1668 to 1800's) Other records are in Greifenstein and Braunfels. As I enter records and location do I basically match the years as the location is not available?

    Are you referring to entering place information in Family Tree? And that the full place name you want to enter is not available as a "standard"? If that is the case, then type out the full place name, click on the top menu line which will be in red to save what you typed, then check to default standard getting linked to it. If that is not correct then click on it to choose the best on available:
