Spanish Slave Name Guessing Game

Last time I tried this I received a great guess from an awesome helper named Julia. Now I'm here to try my luck again with a much harder name. This first name belongs to a female slave that was born in Africa and brought to Puerto Rico in the early 1800's. I have never seen a name quite like this. It could have been given to them by a previous Spanish, English, French, or Portuguese slave owner or it could be their actual African named that is badly misspelled. Maybe I'm just reading it wrong, but I won't say what letters I think I'm seeing because I don't want to corrupt any guesses that the F.S community may have. Any guess or help is appreciated. Here is the photo and below is the link. I encourage guessers to read the index after guessing because the indexed first name may not be accurate. It certainly was not accurate for the surname.

Much better guess than the first name I thought it to be. I didn't see those letter's until you mentioned them. If no one else comes up with another guess I think I'm going to stick with that one haha

    Thank you very much!

Like K S D, I read it straight off as Celestina. In fact, I think it's so clearly written that there isn't even room for doubt.

An image to text converter program came up with "Relestinos," so I'm going with Celestina as well.

Absolutely Celestina. The writer has a small lower loop in the uppercase C, a common writing style.

Celestina, however could that s really be an r? I like to cause problems, so I am going with Celertina.

    Signed, Vincent

Welcome back Julia and thank you again for another name assist! I'm seeing the letter "C" a lot more clearly now. I kept looking at it like the letter "P" and overthought it. Thanks again.

That makes sense. I kept seeing different letters but I see it now that everyone mentions it. Thank you very much for confirming.

Well, there is a German name "Celer" that appears in some Polish communities as well, but Celertina would be a first haha Celestina has a better ring to it. Thank you, nevertheless.
