Can someone please tell me how to reset the display for the main page when I open the FamilySearch website? Several months ago I changed to the new display and i would like to know how to get back to the old main page that showed a picture of a young boy holding a photo. i don't know if that is still the old display form for the main page but i would like to know how to get back out of the current display.

    This one?

The home page photo may change from time to time, but that one is still in the rotation. https://www.familysearch.org/en/

I get him pretty much Every. Single. Time.

However, note that this is only if I'm not signed in. If I am, and click the tree (or follow Áine's link), I get my home page.

I generally use the (misleadingly-labeled) "keep me signed in" checkbox, so FS's behavior re: logged status is a bit unpredictable. (Sometimes, it's enough to have just signed in here in the Community, sometimes, it isn't.) But you can always get back to the boy by clicking your name at the top right and choosing "Sign Out".

    I'm not connected with FamilySearch.

I think it must vary according to where you live. I am in Australia. I haven't see the image posted by Áine above for months, if not years, even when I am not signed in.

When I have not cleared my history, I often reopen the last four (Family Tree) tabs I had open the previous day. Over the last few days, I have been presented with a variety of sign-in pages - three or four different ones for each sign-in page - but I haven't seen the "young-boy-with-a-photo" one for several days now.

Perhaps connected to my U.K. location?

Thanks to everyone who replied to my queston. After I posted it I figured out that the picture I was referring to appears on the main page before I sign In, and then it changes. Problem solved!

Indeed, a few areas in the world have customized experiences for the sign-in page. Australia is one of them.

And it looks like new versions of the non-signed in main page are being developed. I'm getting this once in a while:
